Forum Atlas — Acceptable Use Policy
Version 1.0 · Effective July 12, 2026 Forum Atlas, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("Forum Atlas," "we," "us").
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs use of the Forum Atlas platform, website, and APIs (the "Platform") and is incorporated into our Terms & Conditions. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of this AUP as set out in the Terms.
1. Unlawful or harmful use
You may not use the Platform to:
- violate any applicable law or regulation, including export-control, sanctions, securities, and anti-corruption laws;
- infringe or misappropriate the intellectual-property, privacy, or publicity rights of others;
- harass, defame, or harm any person, or make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on individuals without the human review required by applicable law;
- develop, produce, or acquire weapons, or evade sanctions or export controls, including using Platform intelligence to circumvent restrictions the Platform is designed to surface.
2. Misuse of Platform output
The Platform produces source-cited analysis. You may not:
- remove, obscure, or falsify citations, confidence labels, or
insufficient_evidencestates when redistributing Platform output; - present Platform output as your own primary research in contexts where provenance is legally or professionally required (e.g., regulatory filings) without disclosing the source;
- use Platform output as the sole basis for credit, employment, insurance, housing, or other consumer-reporting decisions — the Platform is not a consumer-reporting agency and its output may not be used as a factor in establishing eligibility for credit, insurance, or employment (FCRA);
- rely on the Platform as investment, legal, or other professional advice. Forecasts are probabilistic estimates, not recommendations.
3. Security and integrity
You may not:
- probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Platform without our prior written consent (see our Security page for coordinated disclosure);
- circumvent authentication, rate limits, usage caps, or workspace isolation, or access data belonging to another workspace;
- introduce malware or interfere with the integrity or performance of the Platform;
- share account credentials or API keys, or resell Platform access, except as expressly permitted by your plan.
4. Automated access and scraping
- API access is permitted only through issued API keys, within documented rate limits and your plan's usage caps.
- Bulk extraction of the Platform's corpus, entity graph, or briefs — by scraping, systematic export, or API use — for the purpose of building a competing dataset or training machine-learning models is prohibited.
- Search-engine indexing of public marketing pages is welcome; crawling authenticated surfaces is not.
5. Fair use of AI features
Features backed by AI models are metered by your plan. You may not attempt to bypass metering, use the Platform to launder prompts to underlying model providers in violation of their terms, or submit content you do not have the right to process.
6. Reporting
Report suspected violations, abuse, or security issues to support@forumatlas.com. We investigate good-faith reports and do not retaliate against good-faith reporters.
