Manifesto

The bet.

Agent-built production at single-FTE + AI-agent scale lets us match incumbent coverage, exceed it, and undercut their pricing structurally — and we can carve commercial intelligence market share that no human-analyst-based incumbent can defend.

Bloomberg, Janes, Wood Mackenzie, IQVIA, Refinitiv, S&P Global, Forecast International, Govini, CB Insights, Recorded Future. Each one built an excellent product. Each one charges what it charges because of the analysts on its payroll. None of those analysts is going away. None of those products is going away. But the floor of what an analyst-team must produce in order to be worth $50,000 a seat per year rises every quarter as the agent-built production frontier improves.

The Forum Atlas bet is two things at once. First: produce the class of output incumbents sell, at a structurally lower cost. Second: produce things the incumbents fundamentally cannot — cross-sector entity reasoning, continuous per-persona briefs, predictive forecasting at distribution-grade resolution, agent-consumable APIs at margin, customer-data fine-tuned synthesis layers. Each one of these capabilities is feasible at the agent-built cost structure and infeasible at the analyst-team cost structure.

The bet is not that AI agents are better than analysts. They're not, in many cases. The bet is that AI agents are good enough, fast enough, citation-disciplined enough, and cheap enough to clear the bar at the mid-market price point — and that the mid-market is large enough to fund the build-out into the segments where incumbents are entrenched.

We are betting on the agent-built cost frontier moving in our favor faster than incumbents can restructure to meet it. We think we're right. We think this is going to take eighteen to thirty-six months to demonstrate. We think the customers who try Forum Atlas early will get a structural advantage from earlier-adoption pricing. And we think the people who tell us what's broken will get a product built around what they need rather than what we guessed.

That's the bet. That's why we're here.
